Working with Heightened text
You will learn to speak and work with heightened texts, understanding the vast demands of energy that involves your breath, speech muscles, and vocal presence.
We will work on Restoration, Shakespearean, and other classical forms of text, learning how to connect to the imagery of the words, the rhythm of the language, the ideas, phrasing, and the characters journey throughout the text.
The work will require you to increase your vocal capacity and breadth; increase your command of presence and understanding of structure, pace, and rhythm.
